Adam Broder is the Founder and President of The Broder Group, a consulting firm established to advise small and mid-sized financial institutions seeking to expand their commercial capabilities in the US and abroad. Leveraging its broad expertise and global network, the firm serves as a strategic advisor to companies in financial services, private equity and venture capital, and collaborates closely with clients to deliver disciplined sales management and execution, optimization of capabilities and transformational growth strategies. Since its launch in 2015, the firm’s clients have included banks, asset managers, hedge funds, fintechs and insurance companies.

Adam has over 25 years of experience in financial services. He spent most of his career at Goldman Sachs, where he held a number of senior positions, including Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Goldman Sachs Asset Management in EMEA, Chief Executive Officer for Goldman Sachs Asset Management in India and Director of Business Development for the Investment Management Division in Asia. He also worked in the Investment Banking Division. During his time at Goldman Sachs, Adam lived in New York, Hong Kong, Mumbai and London, and had responsibility for building and managing businesses across six continents. After leaving Goldman Sachs, he became Managing Director at Och-Ziff Capital Management, where he restructured global sales and marketing, increasing assets 62% from $29 billion to $47 billion. He later served as Managing Director and a Head of Global Distribution at PGIM, the asset management business of Prudential Financial.

Adam is actively engaged in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, partnering with founders and management teams to help scale innovative ideas into impactful, sustainable businesses. He serves on the Advisory Board of MetaProp Holdings, a venture capital firm focused on the real estate technology (PropTech) industry. He is an advisor to PFASolve, a company focused on solving PFAS contamination through cutting-edge detection and remediation technologies. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Vester, a company that enables consumers to earn fractional equity in public companies through everyday spending.

He has been an Adjunct Professor of Finance since 2017, and teaches at Rutgers University, Stevens Institute of Technology and Montclair State University. He was appointed to the Board of Trustees at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in 2025.

Adam received his MBA from Columbia University and his BS from Cornell University.
